About the Screen Sizer for Vegetables.
The Hybrid Agrobots Screen Sizer effectively sizes round produce in a continuous process. The machine uses a rotating screen with holes at a set size, produce is fed onto the screen and small produce falls through the holes while larger produce is carried to the outfeed. Mechanical shakers gently vibrate the produce to aid the sizing process.
Multiple Screen Sizers can be placed in a row, each with slightly larger screen holes than the one before, to separate produce into additional sizes. A bottom collection conveyor carries sized produce to the next stage for manual bagging.
The system includes an elevator with hopper for automated feeding, screen sizer units for 3+1 grade separation (e.g., less than 50mm, 50-70mm, 70-80mm, above 80mm for onions), sprout gates with pneumatic clamps, and an electric control panel. Construction uses food-grade rubber screens, GI sheet and MS tube frame, with PU paint finish.
