Questions, answered.

Everything you need to know about our grading and sorting machines, from computer-vision technology and capacity to installation, maintenance and support.

What types of grading and sorting machines does Hybrid Agrobots manufacture?
We manufacture a comprehensive range of grading and sorting machines for both the agriculture and poultry industries. For agriculture, we offer Fruit and Vegetable Grading Machines (optical and mechanical), Computer Vision Based Grading Machines with AI-powered defect detection, Apple Washing/Brushing/Vision Based Grading Plants (5-10 TPH capacity), and Mobile Apple Grader Machines. For poultry, we offer Egg Collection Systems, Egg Weight Grading Machines, Egg Washing/Drying/Grading Units, Egg Packing/Repacker Machines, and Egg Printing Machines.
How does computer vision grading technology work?
Our computer vision grading machines use high-resolution RGB cameras and specialized lighting to capture detailed images of each product as it passes through the system. Advanced AI algorithms analyze these images in real time to assess colour, size, shape, surface defects, and quality. The system then sorts each item into the appropriate grade bin. Our apple grading plant, for example, processes 9 apples per second per 3 lanes, achieving size accuracy of plus or minus 1mm and defect detection accuracy of plus or minus 1mm across 24 different grades.
What is the capacity of your grading machines?
Capacity varies by machine model and product type. Our Fruit and Vegetable Grading Machine handles 3+ tonnes per hour using optical technology. The Apple Washing/Brushing/Vision Based Grading Plant is available in 5 TPH and 10 TPH configurations. Egg grading machines are designed for farms of all sizes, from small-scale operations to large commercial poultry farms processing thousands of eggs per hour.
Do you provide installation and commissioning services?
Yes, we provide complete installation and commissioning services. Our factory-trained engineers travel to your site to install the machine, connect it to your existing infrastructure, calibrate all settings, and perform thorough testing. We also provide operator training (typically 3-5 days) and a post-installation support period to ensure everything runs smoothly. Installation is included with every machine purchase.
What after-sales support do you offer?
We provide comprehensive after-sales support including spare parts supply, technical support via phone and WhatsApp, on-site repair services, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs). AMC customers receive priority support, scheduled preventive maintenance visits, discounted spare parts pricing, and detailed machine health reports. Our team is available Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM IST.
Can your machines be customized for specific products or requirements?
Absolutely. Customization is one of our core strengths. Our engineering team can configure grading parameters for different product varieties, sizes, and market requirements. For example, our apple grading machines can be set up for specific apple varieties with custom colour and size grades. We also offer mobile configurations for on-site grading at orchards. Discuss your specific requirements with our engineers for a tailored solution.
What is the typical lead time from order to installation?
Standard machines typically take 4-8 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch. Custom-engineered machines or complete grading plants may take 8-16 weeks depending on complexity. Installation and commissioning typically require 1-2 weeks on-site. We provide a detailed project timeline at the quotation stage so you can plan your operations accordingly.
Do you serve international markets?
Yes, we serve customers across India and internationally. We have offices in Mohali, Punjab (India) and Auckland, New Zealand. Our machines are designed for international operating conditions, and we provide global installation support. Contact us to discuss shipping, installation logistics, and local support options for your region.
What maintenance does a grading machine require?
Regular maintenance includes cleaning sensors and cameras, lubricating moving parts, checking belt tension and alignment, inspecting conveyor rollers, and calibrating grading parameters. We recommend preventive maintenance every 3-6 months depending on operating hours. Our Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) cover all scheduled maintenance, reducing unplanned downtime by up to 70% and extending machine lifespan by 30-40%.
How do I request a quote or schedule a factory visit?
